Dear Grandview Dental Patients,
We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. While many things have changed over the past few months, one thing has remained the same: our committment to your safety. While we have been limited in the treatment we can provide to you at this time, we have been working hard to prepare our office to resume caring for all of your dental needs.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. We follow the recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We have been monitoring these agencies closely for the most up-to-date guidance to keep both you and our staff safe.
You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. For example:
- Our office will communicate with you before your appointment to ask some screening questions. You'll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office. We will also be taking your temperature as a screening tool when you enter the building.
- Appointment times are now more critical as we are staggering our schedule to better manage social distancing. Please arrive for your appointment as close to the scheduled time as possible. If you are early, please wait in your car. If you are late, we may have to reschedule your appointment.
- We are limiting the number of people in our office to allow for social distancing. Please come to your appointment by yourself. If the patient is a child or someone requiring a caretaker, one adult is allowed to accompany the patient if necessary and must stay in the treatment room throughtout the appointment.
Thank you for being our patient. We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we are taking to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice.
